Who has put an s5 motor in their s4??

I'm looking at doing the conversion, and I would like to know EXACTLY what I need to do in order to make this work. Thanks.

Series 5 engine, turbo, manifold, downpipe (i think they are different), ECU and wiring harness. The engine mounts are the same, so it's pretty much plug and play!

I was under the impression that the DP was the same due to the fact that RB only sells one exhaust kit that fits all 87-91 turbos. And couldn't I avoid replacing the ECU and wiring harness by swaping out the engine parts from my blown s4 motor that are electronically involved?? Like the front cover. I also heard somewhere that with this setup the upper intake manifold woul have to be changed so i could use the s4 oil injectors to go along with the s4 omp on the s4 front cover. Ever heard of this approach?

I think if you *JUST* use the s5 block, you can put all your s4 manifolds on, and use the s4 ecu..

Otherwise... don't you have to change the guage cluster, too?

Im going to use a S5 in my S4. You swap all the old manifolds over. Well, you can swap the S4 turbo over, if youre a nitwit. Basically use your old intake manifolds, and your old harnesses and ECU. The other thing you have to worry about is the OMP. Im just going to ditch mine, and run pre-mix. Ill be glad answer any other questions for you that I can. I would highly suggest to get anything youve ever wanted done to the engine while its out. Im going to have my intake manifolds nickel plated, my injectors cleaned, my DP powdercoated or something, and thourghly clean my engine bay.
