Who has the oldest FC?

this obviously only applies to 1986 owners, but who thinks they have the oldest? This can easily be determined aby looking at the last 6 digits of your VIN. The serial numbers started at 100001, so a serial number of 100002 would be the second one, 100050 would be the 50th, etc.

So, mine is 103917, the 3,917th FC. Who can beat that?

my 91 coupe w/ the A option (4pot brakes, power everything, cloth seats, sport suspension, rear windshield wiper) was made in june of 91, thats the last month of production for the coupes, so im close but definitly not the last, i looked at my vin, its not all that close to the last number. verts were produced until 92 or close to 92 but i think only for the japanese market, im sure icemark or someone knows the solid facts on production as i dont have all the info infront of me.

i forgot, but the earliest 86's were made in late 85, im pretty sure there are a few people around with an 85 build date. also there were a handful of tII's sold as 86's made in mid-early 86 i believe.

RX Tuner, "Old School" edition. Page 20, Readers Rides, "Michael Lindsay's 1988 Mazda RX-7 10AE Turbo II"

From the article "With only 16,000 original miles on it, it still looks and smells like a new car. I purchased the car on Oct. 24, 2003, and at the time it only had 11,976 miles on it."

I think he has everyone beat Haven't seen/heard of an RX7 with less than that, in original miles.

Damn...mine is 122,344 of course made in 12/85. Damn...22,344 and 125,581 miles on her. As soon as I put the intake manifolds back on she'll be running strong as usual . Well at least I beat a couple people

And I have seen in person a mint 89 TII with 29k on it.
