Who has an aftermarket BOV?

Just wondering if who has one, to see how each one mounts. I have one and might be trying to get another one, but want one that will use the flange already in my fmic piping. Mine uses set screws and I'd have to measure to see how large the opening is. Let me know of the ones that use set screws, thanks.

I use the HKS SSQV. Mine came with the complete kit though so it has the actual mounting pipe for the turbo->i/c

I have a Turbo XS RFL. Its mounted ghetto with just a hose off the stock piping. Don't really care for it though. It will be replaced soon with an Apexi BOV and will be welded onto the piping with a flange.

I have the turboXS RFL myself. Its very loud, but I might be getting a better known/respected one soon though. Just hoping to pull mine off and put another one on the same flange though.

I got a Greddy Type-S. I love it. It sounds awesome of course I paid through the *** for the whole kit, at the time it was like $350.00 for the Blow Off Valve, with the nice adapter piece, the (piping) and all the accesories to install it.

What does this mean? that the TurboXS BOV is not respected? Who gives a flyin fig?

For the price its a VERY well built BOV, and works EXTREMELY well. Screw what other people think, if paying $400 for a BOV makes it respected, then thats just lame. For $120, I have a BOV with just as good of construction, and functions every bit as well as the higher dollar ones. Plus I love the sound!

I've got the same one minus the overpriced adapter pipe adapter. I had Brullen Exhaust build me a stainless steele replica for next to nothing.

No no no, I love the sound of it and it seems to be a quality piece. But I don't expect it to last forever. If I had extra money laying around I would be interested in another BOV is all. I paid around $179 for mine a while back, and I was thinking of spending around the same price for another universal one sometime.

How does it attach? Is it the universal one or the kit?

How does it attach? Just go onto a flange thats welded on your piping? Is the flange simply a pipe small enough to fit the BOV over and uses set-screws to tighten or another method?

Oh, okay. Actually, if (or if you dont) want my opinion, I thing the Turbo XS valve is built quite well for the price...Just my .02
