white timing mark on pulley???

Question white timing mark on pulley???

just wondered what it was for, was checking timing the other day and i have a third timing mark on the harmonic balancer that is painted WHITE??

wtf? should be just red and yellow, maybe a mark someone made with whiteout.

another question is if i advanced timing 10 degrees my idle seems alot smoother, what could cause this??

That's NORMAL.
The engine like more advance, but your emission goes to crap.
The idle timing specs are a compromise of idle quality and emissions.
If you don't care about emission, advance it all you want.
If you cranking over the CAS, be aware that you're affecting ALL ignition timing values across the board.
