Does anybody know why I'm getting white smoke out the tail pipe. I recently took off the turbo broke that down to find a bunch of oil in the rear housing of the turbo. I also removed the turbo manifold to inspect that to notice that it was dry. It only had a little oil where it meets to the turbo which makes me think that the oil is leaking from the turbo into the manifold. If you have any reason why the turbo could leak it would be appreciated

 

your turbo oil seal is blown. have it replaced

 

any idea how much that would cost

 

i'm not sure if you need to rebuild the whole turbo or just replace the oil seal. you would have to get a quote

 

Burning oil smoke should be blue? But it's probably close to white. If it's really white, it's coolant.

 

is burning coolant a huge deal? i think my 7 is right now, but does it hurt the engine a whole lot or do i just need to keep putting more coolant in?
