Question White deposits in front iron coolant passages?

So , what does that mean if you found white deposits in your front iron?

Just wondering ...

And that flash makes the stepped wear look worse than it is :rollseyes:

It all measures about a .001 rise.

I think its just dried coolent. Does it wipe off? I had the same on my engine, and I wasn't concerned at all.

calcium deposits from hard water, it won't affect anything.

but i would make sure you get the mating surfaces nice and clean, the deposits can clearance parts from each other, should be easy enough to scrape off with a razor blade.
