Whistlin' wastegate?

Okay here's what happens: If I give the car throttle and move the boost from -20 to -10 and then let off, I can hear a whistle that sounds like when wind passes by a window with a small crack. If I use steady throttle at -10 it whistles constantly. Sometimes I can notice it at other times when I let the throttle off, but I it's only consistant with the scenerios I just outlined.

Can someone suggest what is going on?

Thanks.

Sounds like compressor surge - looks like possibly the stock CBV (or BOV) vacuum line popped off or got disconnected.&nbsp This lines runs from under the BAC valve into this smallish valve right in front of the turbo and right behind the TID...

Sheez, is that enough acronyms for you?
