i feel kinda dumb asking this ... but my gears whine. n its annoying. how to i put oil in them? do i simply remove the shifter and poor something in there? if so what?

 

No, you don't pour gear oil under the shifter. There is a fill hole, with a plug threaded into the side of the transmission. You should check the level, but if it's already whining in gear, you may have damaged bearings.
