where to tap into for power to guages?

where to tap into for power to guages?
i had them hooked up to my stereo wireing, but they arent getting enought power there, my temp guage reads only 125 f ! with the stereo removed it shows 185 f so its not getting power. where do you guys hook them up to?

dreyko i have mine connected directly to the fuse panel if im correct there should be one empty slot that carries power to it you go to your local discount auto parts and buy a plug that youll see that can go into the fuse and has 1 wire coming out of it only works when the ignition is on check it out let me know cant get better than that i think

i just spliced into the power for the OEM gauges. Done it on an eg6 and FCs. They all worked great. If you have a hanes im pretty sure theres a schematic to the OEM guages and you can find out which is power there...
