Up front, Iuse the stock towing hooks for the floor jack, and and the stand jacks right under the torsion bar mounting points.

On the rear, I use the rear diff housing for the jack stand, and the rear frame for the jack stands.

What ever you do, DON'T use the cross member bars\frame!!! (or whatever is called, the ones that look like a mini chassis frame)

Blue ovals show where I don't like to use the jack stands, black circles show the locations I use for the jack stands.

The chassis rails (the blue ovals) work fine. They're one of the strongest parts of the car, strong enough for Mazda to bolt a chunky reinforcing crossmember there on 'verts (you can see the empty bolt holes).

I jack on front tow hooks and the red circle, is the red circle a bad place? Rear jack, I use diff housing. Front jack stands, I use somewhere on the frame rails, there's a spot that looks like it has several layers of metal built up. Rear jack stands I place where the rear subframe mounts onto the car.

Are those good spots?

The black circles are where I put my jack stands. They fit perfect on that because its round.
