Where to get metal intake gaskets?

I believe only the FD's have them.
We had to order a bunch of Kouki turbo intake gaskets, and they all came in paper.
A tip to get more life out of the gaskets is to coat them LIGHTLY with some silicone RTV.
This allows you to resuse them, as they don't stick to the aluminum intake manifold flanges as much.
Do NOT overdo the silicone RTV, as this tends to plug up the air bleed passages - don't ask me how I know this.

I would think if you retigthened it after a good warm drive it would be good. The plastic in theory should melt a little bit BUT... it depends on how much is on there, if its just a thin film then rock on. If its thick, it's gonna get a leak.

Haven't we ALL heard this
When I did my LIM I torqued it all down to 19ftlbs and let it sit over night and retorqued. The nuts turned about a 1/4 turn. Did the same to the UIM. Not sure if that would help.
