Where is factory Amp?
Hi, Im trying to locate where my factory amp for the stereo is mounted. Im not sure if mine has one still in it, or if its been removed. The car is a 1990 TII with 6 speaker system. Thanks

The Factory Service Manual gives a vague idea on its location too: http://www.cochran-racing.com/FSM/s5...CAL_SYSTEM.pdf
page 87 of the pdf

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
On factory amplified systems there are usually multiple amps.
Door speaker amps are generally behind the drivers dash speaker.
Front dash amps are generally next to the radio, or on the passengers side next to the pass speaker.
rear amps are next to the radio, or on each speaker.
headrest amps are in the drivers side just below the B pillar
