I intend on going for around 300~ hp long term. As of right now it just has a turbo back exhaust, k&n cone filter, larger fuel pump, and a turbonoz stage one chip, and a fuel pressure regulator. Any idea how well a hybrid turbo can perform around 8 psi till i do more supporting mods?

RotaryEvolution's suggestion of BNR upgrade is the way to go. That guy knows everything. Its mostly bolt on and aside from a little fiddling, fits like the old one. I have their stage 2 turbo build in my car and it is really reliable. I am looking at about the same power range. Smooth, and relatively close spool range.

If you decide to get it straight rebuilt, I'd still send it to BNR. They've got experience. I learned the hard way by sending my stock turbo to a diesel turbo shop for a straight rebuild. I'll spare you the horror story, but had to upgrade once I got it back because of the amount of damage. Sent it to BNR and they built it better than stock. Excellent worksmanship

Bnr is the way to go. Go to IRPERFORMANCE website to order them. Also give Ihor or Andrew a phone call
