i just got my 88 TII(had a 87 till i totalled it )... the boost gauge wasn't hooked up cause the plastic hose had melted... here is what i did... i punched a small(very small, no bigger than the diameter of the plastic hosing) in the rubber tubing between the intercooler and the throttlebody.... and i pushed that little plastic hose thru the tiny hole, and it works perfectly... it measures boost right before it goes to the intake... i'm sure theres other ways of doing it, but thats my way, nice and easy, and works

Yep, generally you want to T off where the pressure sensor ties into the manifold.

Remember not to cut the vacuum tube at the manifold as there is the restrictor pellet there. just un-hook the line and push in a vacuum T connector and then a small piece of tube to hook the other end of your new T connector to the manifold.

I used a "T" off the line going to the pressure sensor.

Ditto. It seems to be the most commonly used place.
