Question where does this wire go?

first off, my wiring harness is a mess.

on the fuse box in the engine bay there is the 80 amp fuse. There are two wires that connect to the box, both are black, roughly a 14 gauge wire. I know one of the is connected to the starter where the + of the battery is also connect to provide power to the rest of the fuse box. but where does this other wire connect to?

Pics of the 1st wire would be nice, the single connector in the coil doesn't connect to anything.

The alternator and the ignition switch. Look at the Power System schematic in the FSM Wiring Diagrams.
