MA Where does temperature gauge wire connect?

From the probe in the engine, where does the temp gauge wire connect?
Is it part of the harness? I had a replacement wire coming off thee probe, then connecting to the correct wire, but my idiot mechanic broke the wire, so I have to reconnect it...not sure where to connect it to.

The wire coming off of the sensor should be Yellow/White. It runs to connector FEM-01 where it mates with a Yellow/Black wire (S4 turbo).

I checked the fsm, but im having a hard time figuring out where that FEM-01 connector is. Where can I find that connector?

Apologies if that's an obvious question.

its the connector that connects the engine harness with the rest of the car near the ECU, pass side floor. I would just cut open the engine harness under the intake and find the yel/wht wire and there you go
