where does the knock sensor go?

where does the knock sensor go?

i cant find where the knock sensor is or where it suppose to go. does anyone know where?

Throw that POS away.
It really doesn't do anything, and it gets totally ignored above 4,000RPM's.
No, it will not save your engine if you encounter severe detonation.
It just blows my mind that people still want to buy these things off of eBay.

on an s4 yep, for the S5 it is located above the front trailing spark plug threaded into the rotor housing.

yes they are fairly useless but you guys could have at least answered his question.
