Where does this go?

I presume it use to plug into the ACV, but where to now?

Before

Now

According to the emissions removal info "cap off the vacuum lines that went to the ACV"

My mate thinks that I need to run it to somewhere on the intake manifold.

I thought I would consult the rx7 gods.

Cheers

Yes, there was a nipple on the ACV that was routed into the manifold. You now need a new pressure source, so either tee into the one used for the BOV, or pull from a nipple by the throttle body.

i love how all of the block off plates eliminate that port like it had no practical use... tee the blowoff vacuum port or the front ports on the throttle body top or bottom.

Another option (if you have your ACV) is to figure out which port on the manifold was routed to the nipple, then drill/tap a hole in your block-off plate for an NPT fitting.

this is what i have done in the past but you have to be careful that the barb fitting doesn't warp the plate if you tighten it down past the sealing surface. the spot you need to tap into is the single "hump" in the plate. it's best to put the plate on a flat sander after installing the barb fitting to make sure it is perfectly flat.
