Where does this boot go?

I am in the process of replacing all of my rubber bushings with PU ones from energy suspension. With the kit I got it has a set of tie rod end boots which fit nicely; but there is another set which are slightly bigger than the tie rod end boots but not quite big enough for the ball joints. What are these for? I haven't got to the rear control arms yet so maybe they are for the trailing links? I believe the set says they are ball joint boots but they are definitely too small too fit on the ball joint. The hole in the middle won't even fit over the stud on the ball joint.

I'm confused?????

It is the ball joint boot.....did u get the hyper flex kit? If so i got the same thing and i know what u r going through. Double check the list that came with the kit and look on the rubbers itself to make sure the numbers r the same. 2 r for the tie-rod ends and 2 r for the ball joints. Also the ones for the ball joints r a pain to put on u will need to compress it all the way in order for the bolt to go back in. Good luck bro.

That's what I thought. I checked the numbers and they match up. I just couldn't believe that those little boots were going to stretch over the ball joint. I really just wanted to hear someone else say they had the same issue, and that's what I got.

Thanks!
