where do you put sea foam? Please HELP!

I posted another thread about this and no one answered, so i decided to post a new one and maybe someone will help me out.

I want to use sea foam through the vaccum line to clean out carbon but i dont know what 2 vaccum lines to put it through to clean both rotors.

I have a 88 TII.

Someone please take a picture or describe to me what vaccum hose/hoses to put it through!

any vacuum line that goes into the manifold.

the line for the pressure sensor will work fine, it is the one that comes straight out towards the strut on the passenger side (pressure sensor is the little black box mounted on the strut tower with a vac line and wires going to it)

you put sea foam in the trash.

supposedly it does bad things to rotaries. the water treatment method works much much better. search for that instead.

...if you only want to treat the front rotor. The MAP sensor is fed from the front primary intake runner only.

You need to use a nipple that sees vacuum and feeds both runners. On a TII the best ones to use are the top or bottom ones on the front of the UIM (but not the middle one).

Awww, I would send you pics but I charge $.03 - Kinda screwed yourself there didnt you tightass!!

J/k, Do some searching. I remember several threads that suggested NOT to use seafoam in a rotary. Im not sure it would be a good idea.

i thought seafoam went in the sea?

i hate snake oil treatments, if anything i would use either small amounts of carb cleaner in a vacuum port with a break between treatments or just the water injection method.

This is a stupid question, but how would you do the water treatment on a rotary that is bareblock with a vacuum line going only to the BOV, pressure sensor, manifold, air bleed, and brake booster?

ive been reading about it and i cant decide. 1/3 the threads say that water doesnt do ****, the other 1/3 says atf will screw you over, then 1/6 says sea foam isn't worth ****, while the other 1/6 says its great stuff.

Unless you welded up all the nipples when you removed the vac lines, exactly the same way.

sea foam is a waste of money. i once left a set of injectors soaking in it overnight, and it didnt even turn dark. the same set of injectors in FI cleaner overnight made them completley clean.

when i do this i use carb cleaner. ive found that water doesnt work as well.

sorry about telling you the wrong nipple, i got confused.
