Where do I go to get a hybrid turbo done?

Well wouldn't ya know it again ... after paying 450 some odd dollars to have my turbo 'built up to a massive hybrid", I've come to find out that the only thing done was the impeller clipped and its having problems making/holding boost. Funny the car could only put down 215 to the wheels, and that was cranking the gain up to 75!!!!

Who do I go to to build a done up hybrid? The only person I've found is BNR, and that's gonna run me 975 (stage 4 plus $100 for updgrade). I like the whole one year warranty deal.

BNR is the most famous in the states.

you could always try to source a panspeed/knight sports/feed hybrid.

did the guy tell you what he was going to do to the turbo before you paid him? did you tell him you weren't happy with the transaction?

I dropped 7g on the engine and components ... I was VERY specific what I wanted done. Since I work 70-80 hours a week, I didn't have time to do labor and whatnot myself. I've since spent another 2000 redoing most of it. The people that follow my builds know I try to keep stuff done to a certain level of quality and specifics. I have it in writing too. The crappy thing is even when someone messed up, do you really want them touching your stuff again?

You don't have to take it to BNR and you don't need overnight parts from japan. I'm sure a local turbo dealer can point you in the right direction. Maybe a local speed shop? Try asking about a good local shop on the regional forum. I would never pay shipping for a turbo unless I live in the middle of Farmville USA.

Turbos are not RX-7 specific. Have you tried searching other regional forums?
