I am doing a Tii swap in my s4 because I can't find any clean TIIs for less than the swap will cost me. Anyone have any expirence with any of the companies that do crate motors?? I saw one on for $1595 with tranny, intercooler ecu and uncut wireing harness. I just dont know who to trust or not trust and where the best deal is. Any suggesstions???

I see you are in puyallup WA, so is atkins rotary.

They are a very reliable company that have helped me a lot over the years.

Atkins started importing japanese engines a while back and i would trust them.

Another reliable source on the forums is Japan2la. I have yet to hear a complaint about any of his sold engines. (only sells good compression engines).

Do not buy from anyone else. You will get your money taken. Best case scenario having a rebuildable core........with the worst being internally rusted unusable scrap.

As with all japanese imports you are taking a gamble. Excellent compression initially does not guarantee the engine will last nearly as long as a proper rebuild.

My japanese engine lasted 2 years until the compression recently went. (coolant seal)
Bought it with 115-120 psi X6.
