where can i get fuel line?
ok redoin my 2 fuel lines, the vent line is still alright so im just doing the 2. where can i get some new fuel line? or do i have to go to autozone and get the 3 foot lines and add them up? thanks....
OK, goto Napa, Autozone, what have you, ask for the NYLON fuel line in 8mm or 3/8, like 60 cents a foot, and will never rot, rust or what ever, I have heard of it holding 800psi of pressure.

ok i went to the autoparts store today, for the 5/16th FI line, i was like i need about 25 feet, (for both lines)....he says it's 4 bux a foot, i was like NEVERMIND! and walked out.....napa is down the st. but it's probly the same price, where can i get about 25ft, for a good price? anyone know?
Why do you need 25 feet? Most of your fuel line is metal. You need a couple of feet in the back to go from the pump to the metal lines near the tank. You need several more feet to to the supply and return lines at the filter and drivers side of the motor, and maybe 2 more feet to do the small pieces on top of the motor.
You have to pay the big buck$ for fuel injection line, but I believe you can buy a whole lot less linear feet than what you're planning to.

I bought 25' ft of 3/8"aluminum tube at the local race/circle track shop and replaced both the the supply and return lines in my 1st gen. The tube was less then 20 bucks. You will also need a tubing cutter, bender and flaring tool.

There are plenty of ideas here. If you need to replace the hard lines then do so as trochoid suggested. If you need to replace the simple rubber hosing, then measure the lengths you need and buy the hose.

so it's not a good idea to replace all my gass line with FI rubber line right? im gunna have to do it like it came from the factory? it's just gunna be a bitch to bend it, so im gunna have to buy tools n ****. so i take it no one elce has done gasslines? i feel like a pain or askin stupid ****, or just no one know what im tryin to do here.. thanks for anyone that can help
my bros wife is gettin me 25ft of 5/16th rubber FI line for like 18 bux, sure beats 4 bux a foot huh?, they can get metal line.. so **** it, i need this car to work and it will work i guess ***** it, and yes my stock lines are all rusty
I'd worry if it's really for fuel injection (pressures).
I've had idiot car parts guys state that what they were selling was rated for fuel injection pressures.
I grabbed the numbers off the side of the hose and did a web search - most of it was NOT rated for fuel injection.
I've seen "carb" fuel hose leak when used on an FC.
The price has me worried; I'd put money it's carb fuel hose.

Slip, you need to get a used set of hard lines off the for sale section. Making the lines when you have never done anything like that before is scary at best.
don't try the 280 feet of rubber line thing at all. surely if that way was ok Mazda would've have saved the money and done it that way as well.

Honestly, it's not that hard to bend up the aluminum lines. Replacing the hard lines with rubber is just plain silly. To get the rubber lines to stay in place, you're going to need to add twice as many hangers and if you use the stock hangers, you will probably pinch the rubber lines and choke the fuel flow.
If you are going to complain about having to buy tools and doing the work, then it's time for a Honda. I hear they hold hands better on thier forums.
Cowboy up dude, do it right and learn something in the process.
