any parts house should have them...just make sure you get fuel injection hose!!!!

if you've got a napa close to you, get the weatherhead hose... 5/16". it's cheap and works great.

autozone and places like that usually carry the metal line in longer sections than that, but it requires that you cut and flare them yourself

OK, goto Napa, Autozone, what have you, ask for the NYLON fuel line in 8mm or 3/8, like 60 cents a foot, and will never rot, rust or what ever, I have heard of it holding 800psi of pressure.

You don't have to splice short lines together. Just do what others have already told you in this thread--go to a NAPA dealer and get 5/16 fuel injection hose. NAPA has it in bulk, and will cut it to the length you need.

Why do you need 25 feet? Most of your fuel line is metal. You need a couple of feet in the back to go from the pump to the metal lines near the tank. You need several more feet to to the supply and return lines at the filter and drivers side of the motor, and maybe 2 more feet to do the small pieces on top of the motor.

You have to pay the big buck$ for fuel injection line, but I believe you can buy a whole lot less linear feet than what you're planning to.

I bought 25' ft of 3/8"aluminum tube at the local race/circle track shop and replaced both the the supply and return lines in my 1st gen. The tube was less then 20 bucks. You will also need a tubing cutter, bender and flaring tool.

You need to go examine the fuel lines again. then re-read Buttsjim post

There are plenty of ideas here. If you need to replace the hard lines then do so as trochoid suggested. If you need to replace the simple rubber hosing, then measure the lengths you need and buy the hose.

Why are you insisting on getting rid of the stock metal lines?
Are they all rusted or something?
It'll be safer to run the metal line, as it's a lot more stronger than rubber hose...?

I'd worry if it's really for fuel injection (pressures).
I've had idiot car parts guys state that what they were selling was rated for fuel injection pressures.
I grabbed the numbers off the side of the hose and did a web search - most of it was NOT rated for fuel injection.
I've seen "carb" fuel hose leak when used on an FC.
The price has me worried; I'd put money it's carb fuel hose.

Slip, you need to get a used set of hard lines off the for sale section. Making the lines when you have never done anything like that before is scary at best.

don't try the 280 feet of rubber line thing at all. surely if that way was ok Mazda would've have saved the money and done it that way as well.

Honestly, it's not that hard to bend up the aluminum lines. Replacing the hard lines with rubber is just plain silly. To get the rubber lines to stay in place, you're going to need to add twice as many hangers and if you use the stock hangers, you will probably pinch the rubber lines and choke the fuel flow.

If you are going to complain about having to buy tools and doing the work, then it's time for a Honda. I hear they hold hands better on thier forums.

Cowboy up dude, do it right and learn something in the process.
