Where can i find tII axles

Ive checked everyhwhere i can think of and cant find a replacement axle for my 88 tII. I was trying to find a new one because i drag race at the track alot and didnt want to risk using a used one. might have to... If anybody can help me find one i would really appreciate it.

I've tried Pepboys, Advance and Autozone. Japan2LA sells them but for what I believe to be a ridiculous price for some 20 year old axles. http://www.iscracing.net/2nd_gen_rx7.html < Are those TII axles? It says "2nd gen axles" but the bolt pattern is different b/w N/A and TII. Thedriveshaftshop's are like $1000+.

if you dont like his prices go somewhere else.... oh wait you cant. the sell of these axles have become somewhat of a monopoly. since only one guy is able to supply low mile used ones he can charge whatever he wants, plus if you look its still cheaper to get them from him than to get new ones....if you could get new ones

I already called iscracing, they only have non turbo axles. i did look into the autozone thing. i looked and noticed that the non turbo ones had different part numbers than the turbo ones which tells me they are different. I called my local zone and gave them the t2 part number. Got a pair ordered for 89.99 a piece for reman lifetime warranty ones. As soon as i find out if they're the right ones ill let ya know. Ill put that money towards aftermarket racing axles before i spend "$257.50 shipped" for a pair of used ones.

I know Aaron Cake had a recent thread where he got some new-condition axles (could of been rebuilt). He's in canada though, but worth a try if you still need them...

For those who are looking...

I have 1 pair in inventory...
and the price is the same as always

$257.50 Shipped

And it is true..

TII 1/2 shafts are on National Back order in the USA.

Hence the reason I have been bringing them in from Japan for over 8 years now..

I'm not implying that he should change his prices, I'm only stating the reason that I don't wish to purchase them from him. You don't see me bitching about it, only trying to find different sources. I bought a pair from him actually and the boot tore on it in less than 500 miles, nothing surprising from 20 year old axles.

Good news, thanks.

Japan2LA is an excellent source for like 90% of FC parts. I bought my trans and rear end from him, and even my rotor housings. I bought a TII TB from him recently and the thing looked frickin brand new in dealership-like packaging.

Good idea! Btw they are lifetime warranty too. I do agree, Japan2LA has always been a good source for parts. He hasnt been the cheapest but he always has them. Just some parts are not good bought used.

*grabs cheezits*

But seriously though Japan2La is the shiz. He does more for the FC community than simply bringing stuff from Japan. The guy puts his money where is mouth is and has custom **** made on larger order and does it on faith then sells them. Far more than anyone could ever do.

But if the shafts are a cheap route then hey cool story bro.
