Where to buy a vert top?

Rain pockets are trashed on mine.

Curious what brand/vendors other vert owners have had good luck with.

My targa top is in good shape and I don't need that replaced but from the on-line vendors I've looked at it seems as though most/all of them only sell a package deal with both the targa and vert tops. I really only need the back part.

If you have any local upholstery shops, they may do it or have someone that they can recommend to do that for you, the Vert guys may have someone/a company to recommend as well

I've heard Robbins makes high quality tops: ROBBINS AUTO TOP COMPANY | CONVERTIBLE TOPS
You could call them to see if they sell justsell the rear part of the top, but the old and new sections may not match exactly.
Installing a top is not easy. Unless you have lots of skills, take it to an upholstery shop. It took me 4 days + to install mine.

Got mine from convertible top guys. Got the canvas top one. Had a local upholstery shop install it. He said it wasn't bad for fitment etc.

I like the look of the canvas vs the vinyl.

UPDATE:

In doing some poking around I found that the rear only is available from Robbins. FYI their part number for it is 2950.

Kwiktops had it for $550 (plus shipping I assume) but I was able to find a new one on Fleabay for $398 plus $20 shipping.

Yes, I plan to have a shop install it. I found a shop that's fairly close to me with decent labor rates (a little less than $60) and several very good Google reviews.

Side story: I was kind of "lucky" with my first top. About four years after I bought the car, some dipstick tired to steal my stereo one night. He slashed the top and headliner to get in and all I had to pay was the insurance deductible for a new top.

I've been looking into getting my convertible top replaced as well, and I've definitely wanted to go with a canvas top vs the vinyl top.
