where to buy a rebuilt motor

i need an n/a motor asap and i dont see any on this site for sale anyone no where i can get a good one. and is a jdm motor too risky to buy?

Why not get yours rebuilt? Check your regional section and see if anyone can suggest someone local. Most places I looked for a rebuilt motor charged about $400 - 800 more than a reasonable rebuild job.

In what state are you located? PM Japan2LA on this forum. He is in Cali and gets fantastic JDM motors with great compression. 13B Cosmo longblocks, 13B-REW, most likely an N/A or two. JDM motors are usually less than 60,000mile motors. Any of these can be converted to N/A, unless you are replacing a stock 6-port or something.

Other places that rebuild that have good reps....but again...in SoCal. (forum names in parenthesis)
