Arrow Where To Buy Alternator Upgrade Kit?

So, I see IR Performance can rebuild and upgrade my S5 T2 alternator to a 140amp output [$$$]. My question is where can I buy this kit or individual parts so I can do it myself? I tried looking up everywhere it cant find it. anyone have any idea?

Not certain as to the price from IRP, but when mine went out a few years ago I purchased a new 140 amp alternator for @ $150 shipped.
Can't remember where I purchased the alt, but a quick check showed that there are a few on ebay, new 140 amp for @ $160.

do you have a local rebuilder? you might be able to get the parts from them

or go with one of the off shelf high output alternators you can buy new guys have swapped all kinds of alternators into FCs in the past

Does somebody need to make a sticky with what different alternators fit the FC, which are bolt ons, which require fab/modification, and specs? (Shaft diameter, mounting specs, amp output, max RPM, part number, etc)

I have seen many threads related to swapping diff alternators into the fc. the only reason I made this post is because I want to know if anyone knew there is a kit out there where u can rebuild it urself...
