Where is the BAC? (Thottle body mod)
Im doing the TB mod, and am trying to figure out where to put these hoses afterwards.. i read this here http://www.rx7turbo.com/tbmod.htm :
Im trying to figure out what hoses its refering to... is it referring to the green delay valve in this picture? or what.
Take the hose that comes from the BAC that USED to go to the TB and put the coupler into it. Find the hose that comes from the engine that USED to go to the bottom of the TB and connect it to the coupler. I ran it under some hose down there but I'm sure you can make it fit however you like.

sorry i don't have pictures cuz i don't have a NA, but there is a nipple on the back of your engine that HAD a hose that went to the throttle body before you did your mod. Just run a coolant hose from that nipple to your BAC.

It's pretty simple. When you took the TB off, there were two hoses that had coolant in them. Use a barb connector and some clamps to connect them together. I'd post a picture but my camera died on me earlier today and I lost the charger.

I just found out that the automatic tranny fc came with an extra air line coming out of the bottom of the TB.. im assuming this line is usless, so i pugged it up, and connected the air hose coming from the Intake manifold, to the cylinder shaped thing on the passenger side of the engine bay.

1.3L is not that small
5. doing the TB mod i took the coolat hose (yellow line) in this pic coming off the BAC (in blue) and looped it to the hose in the next pic.. the hose in the next pic goes under the intake manifold and was impossible to get out for me so i have looped them?
next pic (firewall side of motor... under manifold... only coolant line there you can see) sorry for the bad quality

Take off all those vacuum hose in the picture. Store them away for the day you put them back on. You'll need to plug the source of the vacuum for those lines. It should be from a nipple the hose to the far left was connected to.
What do I mean by the hose to the far left. In you picture there are the words DELAY VALVE. Directly to the left of the word DELAY, there is a hose going straight down. It goes to a nipple on the intake. Block off that nipple. Block it off??? Yes. Cut off about a half inch of the vac line you removed. Put some RTV in about a quarter inch of one end of that half inch long vac line.....and put the vac line on the nipple AFTER the RTV has set up for an hour.
You didn't ask about the water hose. THAT is what the QUOTE was referring to that you refered to. It was not referring to the vacuum lines that you ID'd.
