When installing the front upper strut

I'm installing a upper strut for my car and I know we not suppose to jack the car up. I want to know do I install it on a flat surface ground because I live on a hill. Any advice will be great.
thanks

I really don't understand what you're asking here. Are you installing a strut bar? If you live on a hill, why would you want to learn how to install it on a flat surface? You live on a hill..

It is almost always better to work on level ground, I wouldn't suggest working on your car on an incline.

actually you're supposed to install strut bars with your suspension unloaded (car jacked up)

yea, question doesnt make sense, but if ur installing STRUTS your car has to be off the ground, strut bar, i wouldnt thing so much, cuz all you have to do is just lay it over the top. yea working on an incline sucks i did that one time, it was a bad idea...

i suppose if its a fixed strut bar it wouldnt matter...but for an adj bar you definately want to install with the suspension unloaded for the bar to work at max effiency (i knwo my spelling sucks)
