Wheels - expanding the search...

So when you use a tool like TireRack's 'upgrade garage', you see a few nice choices. But how about choices for cars we know have the same bolt pattern?

Evo
Supra
Gen 3 RX-7
G35/G37
etc.

Anyone tried the sweet 19" forged Infinit wheels from the G37?

I am trying to find sources for 16 or 17" super lightweight wheels no wider than 7.5" for a project and thought that some of these other options would make killer street wheels.

No bigger than 7.5? I have trouble holding my 8" 225 starion rims down with my n/a. I REALLY hope your doing a n/a car with these wheels...

Theirs TONS of wheels that fit on our cars because of the super standard lug pattern. Just search around.

You can look through all the different brand sites. Enkei, Volk, Rota, Supermaxx (I think thats the right name..). Theirs HUGE possibilities for rims for our cars. Just look around and see what you like. I'm sure theirs the fitment your looking for...

Great link. On the 7.5's I am looking for something 10lbs or under. The other stuff can be any weight - still can't get those forged G37 wheels outta my head..

Have a look in the FC wheel fittment thread then look at places that'll actually let you search by size, offset, etc. If you find something that you like and TireRack sells, then call them and ask for it. I HATE that about TR that you can't search by size, and many of their wheels really won't fit properly, since they're suggesting 8" wide wheels and 40mm offsets, which probably won't fit unless you stretch a 205 on it. Even then it'll be iffy.
