Most people don't go over 17" on here too much but I believe you can make 18x8.5" fit if you have the perfect offset and not too big of a rim. Ask ARD T2 on here, he'll know for sure.

you could always get some flared fenders in front

I have 18x9 in the rear and I think you could fit the 9.5's with the right offset. Mine are +40mm offset, most of the room that is left is on the inside. I think that if it was a +35mm and you rolled the fender lips you would be ok, I'm not sure how low you could ride it though.

However the 8.5's for the front might give you a little more trouble. I have 7.5's and thair almost hitting my coilovers and they still rub on the fenders when going hard into bumpy corners. I think wider fenders would be a must.

CorkSport has BN Sports knock-off blister fiberglass fenders for $375 a pair. The give you 30mm more space to play with. I'm guessing that you migt be able to squeeze a set of 9.5" wide wheels up there is you have the optimum offset. This way you could run the same size front and rear.

Sounds like you really want to drive a monster truck with size preferences like that.
