wheel and tire question

I was planning on buying a set of wheels from tirerack.com. Im assuming that they are the stock offset, since you do a search for the car there. Anyway, the wheels are 17x7, and I was just wondering what the best (Widest??) size tire would be to fit on there. If anyone has any input on best wheel offset for an FC, or anywhere better to buy a set of wheels, Id appreciate it to. Thanks.

Me too , or I wouldnt of asked. I knew this had been asked before, and I looked over the first 20 pages of the 2nd gen section, and all 3 pages of the wheel/tire/suspension section. Sorry if my post pissed you off so incredibly much that you had to make your little sarcastic reply. Geesh

I am sorry that if your asking a question has made some people mad for some reason, like their too good to take a few minutes to answer a simple question.

I think you should try to get 17x8 for the front and 17x9 in the back. Get them both with a 38 offset, this will allow for you to run a 245/40/17 in the front and a 255/40/17 in rear. Or you can get 17x8 all the way around with the 235's.
