Wheel Spacers, anyone got a prblem with these?
OK I just picked up some 2003 protage es rims for my 2nd gen.
The measurements are 16" 5x114.3 offset is +50
Now if I am correct my rims are 15" 5x114.3 offset of +40
So I have a 10mm difference and dont know the backspace of either rims yet.
I heard alot about spacers, and the have a really high price, BUT the only spacer pics I see people post are more like adapters then spacers.
So I searched through summit and found some.
Here's the Link
now even though I dont know the backspece yet theory would say that the 7/16" spacer would be great since its .4375" thick and I only need .39"
What do you think?
Wouldnt this also solve the problem of putting FD rims on your FC?
Doesnt that price tag look great if this works?

they are only 10mm different if the rim is the same width. you need to know the width of each rim in order to buy spacers.

and if you buy those. you will also need longer studs. which requires removing both your front hubs witch is a bit of work.
