wheel question

ok i have a 88 t2 and was wondering if you guys thought 17 x9 on the back and 17x8 on the front with a +35 offset would work with stock suspension.

if not what would be the offset i would need to go with in order to run these sizes. i dont want to use spacers and he +35 is what i was told a while ago but i just want to make sure before i buy some rims.

I have 17x8 +35 all the way around on stock suspension. They fit just fine with no issues. When I change my suspension next year I plan on running spacers in the rear to flush the wheels out a little because I don't like how it looks now.

I know more now than when I bought them and I wish I would have gotten 17x9 or better yet, 18x9 in the rear. I'm not an expert, but from what I've read on here you could probably go lower offset in the rear without issues as well.

Not with stock springs... Even an 8" rim @ +35 will be close depending on the tire size.

Ted's guide above is pretty spot on allthough it varies some depending on ride height and camber.
