with no spacers you're going to want to measure things carefully. i did a 17x8 with a 32 offset, and in the front it had plenty of room on the inside and it was close to the fender on the outside, so i would maybe get a 40 offset wheel, and be prepared to use a small spacer, like 5mm. in the rear you have a lot more space to play with, so anything that fits up front has no trouble
I'm worried the taller 18 will be too close to the bottom of the coil spring seat on the stock suspension to clear a tire. The wheels in question are actually 18x7.5 with a plus 39 offset. Not 18x8. And the tires are competition tires 225/40r18. It's gonna be close. I'm just hoping I didn't make a mistake going with 18s on wheels I already had for a fifteenth car.
