He lives with his single unemployed mom in the FC. He made his parents sell their house to buy rotaries and his dad got fed up and left, so now all he has is those two pieces of beautiful rolling metal to remind him of the wonder his life once was.

damn! I'm 18, live in MA... I pay $1100/year on my '89 GTU... one minor offence, w/ Libery Mutual

I get a 20% discount for the factory alarm, i think something like 10% for the automatic seatbelts... plus the oldness of the car contributes

$150 every 6 months 24 years old, full liability with 21st Century in Los Angeles, one major accident when i was 20. But I do have a 2004 Frontier with them too at about ~600 every 6 months. The other 2 cars are not insured at the moment, the Vanagon only gets insured during summer when I have trips planned.

Oh of course I would take one for free, but I'm just surprised that a 16 year old can have a fd and a turbo fc. I mean, they must pay good as hell for him to afford them on his own, unless they are junked or something. I'm not trying to be offensive towards the kid, he is just lucky I guess. If I had the money to afford a fc and a fd, I'd end up putting it into my fc and just drive that.

A local insurance company said it would cost me ~$300 per 6 months for an 89 RX7, although I haven't even registered my car yet, so it's not like I'm paying insurance

Current cars on policy: 88 RX7 se, and 93 saturn sc2. Age 20, multiple tickets in the lst 2 years, totaled out the saturn a few months ago. Still paying $80 a month on a 12 month policy with only Liability.
