Whats Wrong with my drivetrain

Well was out yesterday on the way to school and pulled up to a red light and was creeping up on it but as i let the clutch out it seemed hit/grab really hard and made a weird slam noise that kind of bothered me. So i took it easy for the rest of the ride. Came out of school and it had just rained so took it kind of easy to see if i could make the noise again and couldnt. So i drove hard for a little bit to see if that made it come back and it didnt. So then headed for home and threw it in 4th and was barely on the gas and it made the noise again. It will also make

It almost sounds like the springs in my clutch are broken but it only has like 1500 miles on it. Plus wouldn't it make the slam noise every time i shifted hard? Now today i cant get it to do it again and it doesnt do it when i drive the car hard...

Anyone have any ideas? I also dont want to pull the trans until i do my engine swap in about another month. When i do that im putting in an ACT clutch and flywheel.

Check your front diff mount. A lot of a times a "clunk" noise can be caused by a broken one.

i thought about that and will check it as soon as time and weather permits. The only thing is it seems to be coming from the frontal region of the car but it might not be

this also isnt exactly a clunk noise its more of a backlash type of noise. I am assuming its either the clutch spings are broken or the drive shaft is no good. I will have to jack it up this weekend when the garage gets cleaned out. Also still going to check the diff mounts

well i checked the driveshaft and the front diff mount. Only thing i can think of would be the clutch springs or by the sounds of mazdatrix's troubleshooting guide the diff. I would think it is the clutch. Hopefully i can baby it along until my engine swap with an act clutch
