Whats wrong with my CLUTCH???
So i was driving it one day and the clutch wouldn't engage and it lost pressure...
I thought it was the slave- Changed that
Then i thought it was the master- Changed that
maybe even the line- Changed that
Now those are the only components that would affect pressure... Right???
My concern is im not bleeding the clutch the right way... How is the proper way to bleed the FC? and/or
What else could it be???
Please help me...
Travis

Your probably bleeding it wrong and getting air in there. Make sure you push clutch down, then tighten the cylinder, then bring it up, and repeat. You may have to take it to a shop and have them compress all the air out

Ok... Ive found the problem!!!
One of the master bolts that holds it to the trans is missing.... I tried to use the one from the other side to find out the missing bolt has stripped the bell housing hole!
What do you guy's recommend???

It might be worth having a friend press the clutch pedal in while you watch the slave. If it pushes the fork properly, the next step might be dropping the tranny.

The slave moves back and forth as the pedal is pressed but it doesn't keep much pressure...
If i drop the tranni, what do i need to look for???
Never did it before is it difficult???
Thank You!!!

Try adjusting the actual clutch pedal rod that goes into the master cylinder. I had a lot of clutch problems and that turned out to be the culprit. If nothing else tt's worth a try because it only takes 15 min.

try these:
First, if you have a vacuum pump use that to bleed the clutch system. Most have a resivor that will catch all the brake fluid that comes out. Attach the hose to the bleeder screw and draw a vacuum on it. open the valve and close it before the vacuum is totally gone. Repeat.
If that doesn't help look under the dashboard for the clutch pedal. attached to this is a rod with a jam nut on it, this is what pushes the piston inside the master cylinder. Loosen the jam nut and adjust the rod. While adjusting use your free hand to move the pedal. You should have about 1/2" of movement before the pedal gets stiff. now your pedal is set.
If that doesn't help, look at your clutch fork. If it is at a wierd angle(leaning to one side or the other) your clutch fork pivot ball is more than likely broken. to fix this you have to drop the tranny to replace it. (I have had to do this three times now, it sucks)
If everything stated above doesn't help or the CFPB is ok, then it is probably the clutch itself.
Oh and on a side note, unless you have an aftermarket high pressure pressure plate it will not take much force to disengage the clutch.
