whats wrong

i gunned it off the line last night in first gear, right before i was going to shift to 2nd at 6000rpm there was a loud pop and then the car shut off, now when i try to start it, it starts up very briefly then dies. car is 87 t2 with full exhaust, mbc, fcd, and cone filter, i have the boost set at 9psi right now on stock fuel system

check compression
check AFM plug
check that TID hose, or whatever you turbo guys call it...

check all hoses going to intercooler somtimes i forget to tigthen them or they come lose and blow off

would the tid, or the intercooler connections make the car start up then die again? because earlier that day i took the intercooler off to check it out, and i also noticed that the clamp connecting the elbow from the turbo to the intercooler wasn't clamped on tightly, and i was going to fix that at shop class today. also, would it make a popping noise when it came off?
