whats up with my fc?
hey, i got an 87 TII
it starts only with ATF, and it idles if i warm it up a little, but if i drive it, it has no power, and sounds funny. It smokes alot, but that's probly the atf. also if i turn on the headlights, the idle goes down, and the car dies.

First thing I would do is take a compression test to be sure the engine internals are in good condition. Start it up, let it idle for a while to burn the ATF out of it, shut it down and do the test. Hopefully a seal isn't gone, but you'll find out. If compression proves to be good, then you can start troubleshooting.
