I tried to search but "stock" and "silver" bring out a lot of threads Were there S5s painted arctic silver? If not, what is the S5 gray/silver color and does anyone have pics? Thanks.

 

I have a silver '90. Color code is F1 name Winning Silver.
I do know that there were years when there were more than a single silver color in a single year.

There has been a post listing all colors and codes. Try searching under paint, color codes, color. You should bump into it.

 

Thanks man, I found it. I am asking because I'm interested in buying S5 silver moldings and wanted to know if I needed to paint it immediately.

Just do a search for paint codes in the 2nd gen section and you'll see one asking for pics of silver FCs.
