what's up... just got a "88 N/A FC last week
I installed a cone filter and today I went down to the muffler shop and had them put 2.5" piping all the way from the header back to a sinle turbo muffler...

What should be the next few mods I do (I have a pretty limited budget for this car...)

Should I remove the air pump?

one more question, they air tube isn't connected to the piping, so does this mean that the 6-port actuators aren't working right now?

Sooo... Whats the mechanical condition of the engine?
Compression Test results?Start with the basics. A compression test and a pressurized coolant system test. If the results of these are good a full tune-up and an injector cleaning are in order. Get your 6 pors working and install pineapple sleeves if you want. AND THEN start your mods.

 

the motor has 97k miles and seems to be running strong, haven't had a chance for a compression test just yet... what kind of #'s should I expect?
How do I do that coolant test?
