i think as long as everything vital is hooked up, just need the ecu and fuel pump to work... then crank it up.

Ummm. You just want to turn the block over and make sure it has compression right?

you need a warm engine to get accurate compression readings

Like RexRyder said... you're going to need a fully warmed up engine to test the compression. You're going to have to get the car running first.

Yeah, the cooling system and ECU is the most important things.. You don't really *need* the exhaust or drivetrain..

1. The Lead coil and cas wiring.
2. The afm installed with it's plug.
3. The injectors plugs.
4. The Lead plug wires.
You don't need the water thermo sensor, oil pressure sensor. intake temp sensor, Trail coil and plug wires, boost sensor or any of the solenoids on the rack or the acv.

You also have to have the intercooler installed and all the intake hose from the afm to the turbo...to the intercooler. That should have been a given. Plug all the three vacuum hose on the front and back of the throttle body along with the brake booster hose feed at the back of the throttle body. Cap any open nipples on the throttle body and intake manifold.

The engine should run plenty good, fine after it warms up....for your purposes. I't's assumed you'll connect the plugs to the ECU and connect the battery up..a given.

Yeah, those too, but I thought it was common sense.
