An Air Control and Check Valve Cover Plate is required when using this header with a stock intake system. this was in the racing beat ad for the headers so i have to buy something else to put the headers on? or can i just put them on and straight pipe it.

I believe that cover plate is for when you remove the air pump & ACV which most people do once they have gotten rid of their cats.

You don't have to remove them. When I did my friend's RB headers I left everything on the car.
