Above is a very loud exhaust that is used in many SCCA cars. If you don't care about getting pulled over, it will get you most horsepower.

It's people like this that make citizens approve of noise restrictions in communities.
There is no underestimating the taste of the american public. Especially kids with cars.

you want loud..!? your going to get a ticket. but this is my idea.

Mufflershop exhaust from a header all the way back. One single bent pipe with no cats/mufflers all the way to the back. Could also put a cone style exhaust exit like some people do in japan.

or you could just dump it so the side of the driver seat so you can hear it. (isuggest earmuffs on this one)=P

I usually put a microphone at the back of the exhaust and run the exhaust sound through about 4 12" subs the loudest exhaust system i've ever heard.

straight through exh. = no aux port activation on an S4

You know, when I used to do stupid things with cars I'd usually just do it without asking anyone. That way I would limit my shame and humiliation to the people in my immediate area, instead of enabling the entire internet to see how much of a dweeb I was being.

4in mandrel bent turbo back from a T-70 with a large street port (gotham Stage 3 race port) and a Borla XR-1 muffler

Neighbor claimed it knocked a picture frame off her wall across the street...
Had a friend that worked a mile away (literally) call me when ever I started it up...

Cant hear the radio with the windows down and accelerating...

Wow, Pickup a header flange and take it to the exhaust shop and have them fab up pipes that come up through the hood and face the windshield.

You want loud that actually performs well?

Fabricate a true dual system using a header flange and 2 1/8" pipe that merges at the rear bumper into an approximately 18" meagaphone with a 4" outlet. I promise you that it will be so unbearably loud that you will want to cut yourself just at idle. At WOT, you will be heard ten blocks away. People near the car will evacuate their bowels when you get on the throttle. This exhaust will be too loud for most tracks, and you'll be driving around wearing earplugs. Don't even think about trying to have a conversation in or around the car. I give it a whole 5 minutes before the police rightfully pull you over and cite you with every violation they can.

However even with the added 30HP from this ridiculous system, the car will still be slower then the average V6 Honda Accord and all you will do is **** people off and look like a child. No one else wants to hear your noise.

Now, spend some money on a nice thick walled header, thick walled midpipe with resonator and a good stainless packed or baffled muffler (NOT an asinine fart can like the "N1" style exhaust). You will be much happier, as will everyone else in the world.

The exhaust god DEMANDS videos!

I'd consider getting a custom system made (once I actually have the cash) with a Borla, except that Borla mufflers cost almost as much as a whole catback does (sometimes).
