What's the highest known WHP on a S4 Block?
Sorry man, I figured it was common knowledge that I was off that stock S4 block.
OP: I think I actually went on to hit 420 ish on the stock S4 block, then a wastegate line melted through and spiked the car to 30 PSI. Thats what eventually nuked the motor (dowel land, big surprise). I am not claiming that as the all time Stock s4 record because I am sure someone did better.

Throwing in my $0.02: There is a matter of fatigue so that a high HP engine might fail over time instead of right away. In theory you take the highest force/power it can handle for a few minutes and multiply by 5/9 to get infinite fatigue life. For a limited fatigue life it could be anywhere in between. This is all theory, btw.
When you guys say upgraded s5 irons as in plural. your saying all 3 irons.. correct? has anyone ever cracked an s4 iron other than the rear one? I've never heard of someone cracking a front or center. I was under the impression the rear iron on an s4 was all that needed to be upgraded, not the center nor front..
You can crack the front as well. And its not just S4 irons that can crack, they just happen to be the weaker around the upper dowel bosses than S5 and up.

It is easier to at least use both the front and rear side housings as S5 since the port runners are slightly different and it is harder to port them to match than port the same style ports the same way.
With S5 front side housing you also get the larger front cover oil o-ring land.
