Whats a good T2 setup?

Hey I was wondering what would be a good engine setup for a turbo II, the goal being to achieve 400 wheel hp or more with as little lag as possible. Also, what would be the price scope of the operation? Thanks.

you're looking at a big chunk of change there.

haltech 1500
to4b 700
bigger injectors 5-600
intercooler 1000
rebuilt engine for when you blow the first one 2000
new suspension 2000
gauges 1000

these are only rough estimates, im sure it all costs way more...and thats not even a complete list.

look to spend upwards of 8-9k to reach that level reliably.

External wastegate, manifold, blow off valve, etc is still needed.

Do some searches for thread on the forum so you can do it right the first time and not have to rebuild the engine.

You could probably do it for as cheap as $3000 if you shop around for deals, use ebay and the forum, and buy lots of the parts used. Some things though like the EMS and the Turbocharger you can't go skimpy on.

For injectors, depending on the turbo and boost level, you will probably want 720cc primaries and 1200cc secondaries. The fuel pump will need to be upgraded to a 255lph pump.

Don't forget that with all these power upgrades, you will need to upgrade the radiator, possibly add a fan too, and the oil cooler and lines will need upgraded as well.

For 400rwhp you have a few options for turbos. Some of the more popular ones though are the T04E and the RX6. Both should get you 400-425rwhp @ 18-22 psi.
