what's the frekin deal!!!

Ok.... so i decided to do the S4-S5 intake swap....
Now my car won't even start!!! Car=87NAauto base mod red...

Here is what happened...

Spent the whole weekend doing the swap...the vacuum hose are a pain in the @ss...did not ever go home...
well after it was all put together i tried top give her a start(6:30 am Mon morning--still no sleep yet) ...go to sleep at the shop in car...wake up try again...thought cross my mine that i put the S5 injetors in...get on forum to see if that was problem(and it was part of it)...took manifold apart to change injectors...now i still have no go...I checked the plugs(fouled)...got new ones...tried again--no go... tried unplugeing fuel pump, unplugging EGI inject fuse...no go took out plugs let fuel dump out...
compression is good...battery drained now...charged up...tried again...Every attempt has failed...the whole time this is going on fuel vapor trails are flowing from my exaust(friends decided to be stupid and lit a lighter behind right tail pipe flame came out of left almost blowing off my leg ...by now u see i am missing my car, want to hear my exaust, am tired of messing with her(for now)...does ANYONE have any idea on how to get her started, please throw some of the ideas at me!!!!

oh and by the way i decided to use the S5 vacuum nest so that i would be able to hook up each line to its respectable spot...but how could the vacuum nest keep car from attempting to start...it would at least start and then die or idle like crap if something was wrong--right/wrong??

sorry for length...and yes i did do a search...tried everything...

Marshall

sounds like someone shouldn't be allowed near cars...

anyway sounds like you are flooded, but did you replace all the intake gaskets when you did the swap??? if you didn't you may also have a major vacuum leak.

And did you swap injectors??? or swap engine harnesses and ECUs???

I'd suggest checking the ignition as well. Since it appears you are getting fuel, maybe there's no spark.

Also, be sure that you didn't miss something that you disconnected, or didn't reconnect when you did the swap (throttle body, TPS sensor).

sounds like the problem I had when I ported my intakes. It would start for a sec and die and alot of fuel was going out the exhaust and then it would back fire. check the vacuum lines. Check the TPS that was my problem for some reason it just fudged up. hope I could help I know how it is, my car was down for about a week.
