how fast have you all gone on your stock turbos? i cut a 8.18@85mph in the 1/8th mile this weekend. the 1/4 was only a 13.0@100 cause i had to let off about 50 feet before the end (which would have been a 12.8 or so)

i was running falken azenis sports and got a 1.83 60ft. they're autocross tires! just do a burnout and run about 20psi in em and they're golden on the drag strip...

what have you all run?

 

I think that mid 12's is attainable.

 

8.12@95mph with a 2.0 60ft, couldn't get the tires to hook up off the launch for the life of me

how in the hell did we run almost the same time in the 1/8th but you were 10mph faster? does your turbo drop boost off in high rpms like the rest of the s5 turbo world?

 

uhm, no, my turbo holds boost just fine. The reason I got such a shitty 1/8 mile is how much i spun the tires, they didn't grip until 2nd, which is where i made up all the speed.
