Just cut the boot length-wise with a razor knife, right down to the spark plug, and then peel it off.

first off, your means something that belongs to me. i think the grammatical term you were going for is the contraction you're meaning you are.
second you use the word "an" instead of "a" when it's preceeding a word that begins with a vowel.
Thus your response should have been worded "Minclo you're an idiot" instead of "Minclo your a idiot" learn some english before you try and flame someone...biatch

and lastly, thank you, but that still didn't answer my question

Price means nothing. Have you taken any economics or business classes? Its called mark-up. True duals from mazdatrix cost over a thousand dollars but you can make your own if you have the machinery for it for around 600 dollars. Do you think they use special golden machines? no they just need to MAKE MONEY thats the point.

Get NGK or Jacobs wires.(the only ones I have seen personally and can vouch for)

They make a tool for taking the boots off the sparkplug. Also these tools are good because you are less likely to damage the wire if you have to work it.

ugh..damnit it was a fuggin question and i was TRYING to find something out. i know all about economics and shady buisness practices. The question i was asking, because apparently you two did not get it, was what makes OEM wires better than other sets of wires. Prices be damned. Does that different wording help you out any?

OEM spark plugs are pretty high quality and fit very snuggly whereas aftermarket wires may not fit as well. Many times OEM parts are tested and proven to be better than SOME aftermarket replacement parts but not all.

Ynless your getting larger diamiter wires like magncore or jacobs don't get accel or cheapo brands unless you can't get NGK or the others.

I didn't shoot first. Hostility is a response most of the time.

Well your question was making you sound like everything that costs money is automatically better. And this is not a grammer class. Its just a message board and maybe someone should chill on the spelling and typo's eh?

well if your taking it off the plug just take out the plug and get new ones. From the coil I would go the cutting way and then get some DW-40 and blast the **** out of it.

I think you MUST disconnect your baterry so you don't get shocked out the azzn by the coil. JIC to CYA
